St. Stephen's Cathedral
Actually called the “Cathedral of St. Stephan in Vienna” it is located on St. Stephen's Place and has been Metropolitan Church of the Archbishop of Vienna since 1723. The cathedral with its four towers is one of the most important Gothic buildings in Austria. It is 107 meters long and 34 meters wide. The St. Stephen's has all the art works that can only be seen in part with a guide. Among other things, the tomb of Emperor Frederick III., the ‘Wiener Neustädter Altar’ and the pulpit which was built in 1500.
Schloss Schönbrunn
Schönbrunn Palace is known for being a former summer residence of Empress Sisi among other things and one of the most beautiful baroque estates in Europe. With its magnificent park, the Palm House, the Gloriette and the oldest existing zoo in the world, the castle is not to be skipped on a sightseeing tour. Because of its historical significance, unique park and beautiful equipment, it was recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage.
